If there’s true love on this planet, my first is reading. Of course, writing is a ver close second, but I digress.
Reading, for me, means a whole plethora of things. It means being understood, it means understanding. It means escaping reality, and sometimes it means learning to see reality in a whole different light.
If I could, I’d do nothing but read all day. Although that sort of borders on unhygienic. And obsessive.
I’ve been watching silently. At my friend Abrar’s blog, he writes ARC reviews. And I’m just watching, wondering what happened. Hey, how comes he’s doing all the cool stuff?
And then, last Saturday, I finally figured out how he does it. NetGalley.com. So, I went over, read up, and signed up on Net Galley. Here, publishers put up their books and give away ARC to create buzz about the books. You’ll find a badge in the sidebar (courtesy of netgalley.com)
It’s just been 2 days, but my first request already got accepted. Keep Me Posted by Lisa Beazley. I’ve gotten my hands on another book, Dove, by M.H. Salter. I daresay you’ll find reviews of these books on here in about a month or so.
PS: Abrar, if you’re reading this, no offence meant. 😉
I’m with you on I could read for life. Thanks for the info. More books to add to my never ending list of books to read 🙂

Great! These haven’t been published yet, though. Keep Me Posted comes out in April, and Dove comes out in May.
