I don’t remember the name of the story, and that’s what’s sad. But, I do remember the story that made a large chunk of my childhood a bliss. It was written in Bangla, my native tongue, and I wasn’t quite fluent in reading it. Mom used to read it to me at least twice every day. Motto For Life: Why I Am Here

When I close my eyes, I see myself as a writer. I see a pale blank page in front of me and feel a solid pen in my hand. The Sundarbans: We Need To Save It!

The Sundarbans is one of the last remaining sanctuaries of endangered species of wildlife. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Royal Bengal Tiger, the Irrawaddy and Gangetic Dolphins along with at least four other species, as well as many species of endangered birds, including the Masked Finfoot have found and maintained sanctuary in this swampy part of the Bengal Basin.
